Hi there! I'm Kami—the artist, maker, and heart behind Kawaii Kami.

The Journey into the Sanctuary

Long before I became a stationery business owner, a wife, or a mother taking care of my family, I was a child lost in the joy of drawing, painting, and coloring. Nature, family, and the simple magic of creating with my hands have always been my deepest inspirations.

But as life grew busier and the weight of the world felt heavier, I realized how desperately we all need a "Quiet Corner"—a purposeful space to pause, lower our shoulders, and practice productive self-expression for our mental wellness.

That is how Kawaii Kami evolved. It transitioned from a love for product creation into a mission-driven brand dedicated to "Finding Soft Moments." I wanted to bridge the gap between comforting, cute artwork and actual, functional tools for positive mental health.

Meet the Kindness Crew

You aren't meant to walk your wellness journey alone. Every character I hand-draw is designed to act as an emotional grounding guide to help you find your "glimmers" throughout the day.

When you use our journals, stickers, and washi tapes, you're stepping into a space looked after by the Kindness Crew: Emiko, Chizu, Chibi Coco, Pippo, Panko, Yuki, Mochi-Chan, Mimi, and Neko.

Each character has a special role to support you on your pages—whether it's Panko gently watching over your sleep hygiene, Chibi Coco helping you protect your personal boundaries, or Pippo quietly checking in on your social battery.

Every collection goes through a rigorous process of sketching, re-sketching, color tuning, and precision crafting right here in my studio.
